I had a fun time with the AeroManiacs at the Bill Osborne Field in Alameda.

Actually the Alameda group is official called the Aer-O-Nuts. Originally founded by Bill Osbourne. When I first met Bill in 1997, he help me start a club in my own home town of Hercules to work with the kids at my community center. Our club was named the Aeromaniacs, which was the start of my web page aeromaniacs.com. I now, live in Sacramento and fly with the Woodland/Davis club. I really miss the gang at Alameda.

Thanks Heman for the note and the feedback. I stand corrected. Aer-O-Nuts is right, but whatever their official name, the group was totally delightful and very welcoming and patient. I only crashed and broke one plane, and was celebrated for my success. Made my day…..
