Aerial Photos of Point Reyes
– Carl Bidleman
Our good friend and master of aerial photography, Robert Campbell, has published a new book of stunning photos. When he brought Point Reyes and the San Andreas Fault Zone to the office a few weeks back, M’Gee and I got so absorbed with it that we spent an entire hour “ooohhhing” and aaahhhhing” over the stunning images. You can see many of them in this video conversation with Robert and Doug.
Robert’s book can be purchased at the following locations:

Thanks guys. Those images are stunning. It’s amazing how you can live in this area and still see things for the first time, because the perspective is so unique. I will have to pick up a copy of Robert’s book.

Wow…these images are truly breath-taking! Robert is a wonderful photographer with an eye for beauty and what truly makes California unique. This has truly sparked my interest in aerial photography. Here in NY’s Finger Lakes, I’ve had numerous offers from the pilots of the soaring planes to take me up to do photography. Alas, my fear of heights or should I say fear of falling has turned them down. After seeing this, I may have to rethink my response and brave the sky.
Thank you for opening my eyes to the possibilities.

Brave the skies…Judy…with a great pilot such as Bob, and you’ll love every moment. We’ve got a few flights here on OpenRoad.TV. Hope you add your own when you come back west.
