For a different kind of music experience, you can trek to Mammoth Lakes for the Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza on August 1st & 2nd.  This sounds like a lot of fun (indeed, their website states that “Fun has always been, and continues to be, our first priority.”)  And a it’s such a beautiful background for listening to the likes of Coco Montoya.  There will be upwards of 75 microbreweries represented at this event.

Thanks to our pal and culinary adventurer, Janice Nieder, we’ve got more than wine on this site. We’ve got beer, too….with chocolate! Read on and you’ll see an unusual Valentine’s Day menu, and then send us your tips about where to go for great suds in the wild West. Our boss here at OpenRoad.TV, Carl Bidleman, knows way more about beer than most of us, but he’s always looking for new spots to cap his day. Help the poor guy out.
